Having an indoor or covered arena is a dream for any team roper. Thanks to Coastal Steel Structures, that dream has finally come true for me.

I had wanted a covered dressage arena for years.  However, the quotes we had received were never affordable.  At the recommendation of a fellow rider, I visited a local farm with a covered arena made by Coastal Steel.  The arena was perfect, just what I needed.  Chris with Coastal Steel came to see my farm and gave me a very affordable quote and was able to cover my existing dressage arena, saving even more money. The arena was delivered on time and was erected in four weeks' time.  The whole process was fantastic.  The horses did not even miss training because the contractors would stop at 5 pm and leave us plenty of room to ride!  I am so pleased with my Coastal Steel Arena!   The temperature is much cooler even in the middle of the day and we never miss training days because of rain.  Also, our building is hurricane ready, rated to 154 mph, so we feel safe. I had always dreamed of having a covered arena in Florida. The heat and direct sunlight made for some intense training sessions and of course the rainy days prevented us from training consistently. After last year’s incredibly wet winter, it became obvious a covered arena was a necessity especially when training and competing at an international level. Fully expecting the cost to be completely prohibitive, I was honestly surprised when I received the quote from Coastal Steel. I checked out some of the buildings they had done in the area and I was impressed. I decided to hire them and I am so glad I did! They were affordable, on time and their staff was incredibly mindful of the horses training as the building went up. My experience with Coastal Steel was a very positive one through every step of the way. I was planning a 70x100 structure to cover a horse riding arena. From the planning phase to the implementation, I felt supported all the way. My questions, and my builders questions were always answered promptly and thoroughly. Coastal helped me design what would work best for my needs. The material was delivered in a timely fashion and very organized and clearly marked. It was easy for me to inventory pieces to the packing lists upon arrival.There were never any discrepancies with the order. They were right! On May 4, 2016 a forest fire devastated a city of 100,000 people. 2100 homes and buildings were destroyed. We were so fortunate that our home was saved but we lost our 2450 sq ft Coastal Steel shop that was only 3 yrs old. The day we found out we had lost the structure and all its contents, we were on the phone to Coastal in Florida and explained what had happened. Chris Glykas was immediately sympathetic to our loss and was ready to help us out to replace the building we lost. The process from design to payment was so easy given the tremendous amount of details that were required. Coastal provided the engineered plans (required for permits); shipped directly to our acreage in Fort McMurray, Alberta; and was still significantly less expensive in USD than purchasing a steel building from a Canadian competitor. In a 6 week time period, the building was designed; funds transferred and delivered. The building was erected in 2 weeks by 2 people and passed inspection with no issues. Living in Florida all year round and owning sport horses made me come to the decision to put a covered arena up. Coastal Steel Structures helped my horses and I beat the dreadful summer heat by allowing me to affordably put up a high quality covered arena at my stable in Boca Raton.
