Ruby-Collins, Office
A two-story, 14,412 SF I-Beam office addition at the Ruby Collins headquarters in Smyrna, Georgia. Ruby Collins is a water and wastewater contractor, and the addition gives its team roughly 7,206 SF on each floor. A large skylight spans the ridge above an open feature stair, set on a custom curb we provided and installed. The exterior pairs Charcoal Grey PBR panels with bands of faux-wood fiber-cement, plus a perforated screen wall on the west end.

Challenges
A Commercial Metal Building With More Detailing Than a Typical PEMB
The addition was designed to sit flush against an existing retaining wall.
Mixing metal and fiber-cement on the exterior called for more detailing than a standard PEMB. The cladding needed extra trim and expansion joints at the fiber-cement panels, along with openings in the wall girts.
For the skylight, we manufactured and installed a fully custom ridge curb.
Solutions
One Team Furnishing and Erecting the Pre-Engineered Metal Building
We furnished and erected the building, carrying the retaining wall interface, cladding details, and skylight framing through as one team. For the skylight, we provided and installed the custom curb on the ridge.
The addition now sits beside the existing headquarters, with glazed garage doors opening onto a north courtyard that ties the two buildings together.

Proven Coast to Coast
Built on Trust. Proven by Repeat Business.
Our business wasn’t built on first impressions — it was built on repeat business. The contractors, architects, and erectors who choose us once tend to keep choosing us, and refer the ones who come after them.
That’s how a company rooted in South Florida ended up building in nearly every region of the country. Clear communication, honest guidance, and real accountability don’t just deliver a great steel building. They build the kind of trust that travels.
